This Bushing is made for the Delco Distributor housing, internal to the distributor. Due to its many rotations and solid brass design, the orignal part wears out and distributor rotation becomes out of round, causing eratic operation. One lug of the distributor cap may contact the central rotor while the next lugs gap is so large that the cylinder doesnt even fire.

When rebuilding the Delco Distributor check the roundness of this important high wear item.
