This starter switch knob is identical in every way to the John Deere original. It is designed for the John Deere M series tractors as well as the John Deere 40, 320, 330, 420, 430 tractors. The profile is the same as the original and so is the material, which is a solid black phenolic resin. You won't confuse our high quality knob with the plastic replacement from John Deere made of the wrong design, or other products that are just painted black
